Terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions of sale are available at all times and systematically brought to the attention of each customer/user in order to allow them to place an order. Thus, placing an order and checking the box “I accept the general terms and conditions of sale” during the payment process implies the customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 1 – CONCEPT
Get Out! is a concept of a life-size escape game (“Live Escape Game”) belonging to the company VLS ENTERTAINMENT. These general terms and conditions of sale are applicable to any contract for the provision of a games room concluded between (1) any company of the VLS ENTERTAINMENT group (company belonging to the group, company linked to VLS ENTERTAINMENT by a franchise contract / brand license / …) hereinafter “GET OUT” and (2) the users of the room, who will be called “USERS” thereafter; whether they have booked personally or are part of the team of the person who made the booking, hereinafter referred to as “THE BUYER”. These conditions also apply regardless of the means of booking, whether it is made via the VLS ENTERTAINMENT website, hereinafter referred to as “WEBSITE” or with the staff of the various GET OUT! brand operating locations. The gaming area made available to players is called “ROOM” and the provision contract “CONTRACT”. The game part for which the BUYER reserves and pays on the WEBSITE is called “GAME SESSION”.
VLS ENTERTAINMENT acknowledges the right to modify or have modified all or part of these general terms and conditions of sale as well as the content of its WEBSITE (http://www.getout.fr, and associated subdomains), at its sole discretion, at any time and without notice.
The general terms and conditions of sale of VLS ENTERTAINMENT are available on the WEBSITE and can be consulted freely upon simple request from the GET OUT reception staff.
ARTICLE 2 – PROVISION AND USE OF THE ROOM
According to the very principle of the game, GET OUT grants USERS the right to occupy the ROOM for a maximum period of 60 (sixty) minutes. The occupation of the ROOM has the sole and unique purpose of participating in a game organized by GET OUT, which must be carried out in teams of 2 to 6 people maximum.
USERS accept that the duration of presence in the ROOM is 60 minutes maximum, whether or not they have managed to find all the clues and solve all the puzzles (the duration of presence in the ROOM may vary depending on the investigation chosen). This point is part of the very principle of the game. At the same time, USERS accept that the game will end before the end of the 60 minutes, in particular if they have managed to find all the clues and solve all the puzzles in less than 60 minutes; without this being subject to any adjustment or price compensation.
Admission to the ROOM is only possible upon presentation of the booking confirmation email (sent shortly after the payment process to the BUYER).
The complexity of the game does not allow USERS under 12 years of age to participate (unless otherwise). USERS who are minors under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. USERS who are minors over the age of 15 do not necessarily have to be accompanied by an adult. In case of doubt about the age of a USER, GET OUT reserves the right to request proof of identity.
USERS are required to maintain the ROOM and all of its equipment (non-exhaustive list: decorations, furnishings, etc.) in good condition and to use it in accordance with the authorized use. As such, the USER acknowledges in the CONTRACT that any intentional damage or damage caused by unauthorized handling of the room and its equipment will be subject to re-invoicing.
Furthermore, the USER is required to use the ROOM and its equipment in such a way as not to cause or risk causing any damage to other USERS, to the premises and equipment of GET OUT.
During their entire presence on the premises of GET OUT, the USER undertakes to behave in a respectable manner, to comply with the rules and to cooperate with the staff of GET OUT. As such, GET OUT does not tolerate any form of violence, whether verbal or physical, in the form of harassment or intimidation towards its employees and therefore reserves the right to refuse access to the premises to any person whose behavior is similar to the elements mentioned above. GET OUT also reserves the right to refuse access to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as a safety measure for said person and their entourage. For all the conditions mentioned above, the ban on access does not entitle you to any compensation or reimbursement.
Due to the nature of the game, no recording can be made in the ROOM. Thus, the use of video and/or audio recording devices (this includes but is not limited to: mobile phones, cameras, Go Pro) is strictly prohibited. Any use of such devices may result in the game being completely stopped for the entire team.
GET OUT expects its USERS not to disclose the details of the game directly and/or indirectly. Any partial or total disclosure would violate the commercial interests of GET OUT.
ARTICLE 3 – PRICES
The prices charged by GET OUT are indicated on the WEBSITE in the “Book” section and are also displayed at the reception of the GET OUT premises.
The prices indicated by GET OUT! are in euros, all taxes included, taking into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order, any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of the services.
GET OUT reserves the right to modify the prices listed on its website at any time.
In all cases, the service will be billed on the basis of the rates in effect and mentioned on the site at the time of booking.
If only two USERS wish to participate in a game that can accommodate a minimum of 3 USERS, a SESSION for three USERS must nevertheless be booked.
Any other service will give rise to additional billing.
GET OUT reserves the right to modify its rates at any time. Any BUYER will pay the amount relating to the rate in effect at the time of booking.
GET OUT accepts different types of payments depending on the city and the establishment in question.
ARTICLE 4 – RESERVATION
The provision of a ROOM is subject to reservation and prior payment. This is made by the BUYER on the GET OUT WEBSITE.
All reservations are made from the WEBSITE and according to the availability displayed on it. The reservation is only firm and final after receipt of the reservation confirmation email, which is sent to the BUYER at the end of the payment process.
In certain exceptional cases, GET OUT staff may make the reservation on behalf of the BUYER if the latter cannot make the reservation himself on the WEBSITE. In these specific cases, the BUYER accepts without reservation that this type of reservation does not entail any liability on the part of GET OUT or its staff, the staff then acting only as an entry operator according to the instructions given by the BUYER. The BUYER therefore waives any recourse due to misuse, breach of confidentiality of their data or fraudulent use of their account.
The WEBSITE is available in French and English. However, in the event of a dispute, only the French version of the WEBSITE and the general terms and conditions of sale may be used against GET OUT.
A reservation cannot be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If a reservation is transferred or resold in violation of this article, the holder of the reservation will be refused access.
In the event of USERS being late for a reserved SESSION, GET OUT may decide whether or not to start the game. In all cases, the ROOM must be vacated at the time specified in the initial reservation. GET OUT reserves the right to refuse access to USERS who are 15 minutes or more late. The times will be systematically recalled in the confirmation emails sent by GET OUT.
If fewer USERS show up to participate in the game SESSION than initially planned when booking, the BUYER and/or USERS cannot claim a refund of the price difference.
If more USERS show up to participate in the game SESSION than initially planned when booking, the price difference must be paid before participating in the game, up to a limit of 6 players (USERS) authorized per ROOM.
GET OUT reserves the right to refuse any reservation to a BUYER who has not paid for all the services that have been invoiced to him.
ARTICLE 5 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & CANCELLATION GUARANTEE
In accordance with Article 121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car rentals, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or period. Consequently, no reservation can be cancelled or refunded except in the case of a cancellation solely due to GET OUT. In the latter case, the amount of the initial reservation will be refunded.
When the cancellation Guarantee is offered by a Get Out center, the latter allows you to protect yourself from unforeseen events and to benefit from total flexibility.
If you have subscribed to the Cancellation Guarantee when booking, you can cancel and obtain a full refund or a credit (depending on the conditions of the Get Out center in question) without any justification.
The Cancellation Guarantee is valid for one booking only. In the case of multiple bookings, it will be necessary to add the Cancellation Guarantee as many times to your basket if you wish to benefit from it for several bookings.
The Cancellation Guarantee is neither refundable, nor exchangeable, nor transferable to another booking.

Any abuse and/or untimely opening of these exits by one or more USER(S) will result in the re-invoicing of the costs incurred by this abuse.
The USER is aware that it is absolutely forbidden to bring into the premises and into the ROOM objects considered to be (1) physical hazards (explosive, flammable, oxidizing, pressurized or liquefied gas, corrosive), (2) dangerous to health (toxic, corrosive to the skin, irritant/sensitizing, carcinogenic/teratogenic) and (3) dangerous to the aquatic environment.
ARTICLE 8 – PHOTOS AND CAMERAS
